Meta Quest: Guardian & Boundaries

How to set up and manage your Guardian boundary on your Meta Quest headset. WHAT IS THE GUARDIAN? The Guardian system creates a virtual boundary that keeps you safe while using your headset. It warns you when you approach the edge of your play area. SETTING UP A BOUNDARY 1. During initial setup, the headset will prompt you to trace the boundary of your safe play area. 2. Keep the floor clear of obstacles. 3. Choose a boundary type: - Stationary: For seated or standing use in a small area. - Roomscale: For a larger area where you can walk around. EDITING YOUR BOUNDARY - Go to Settings > Guardian to edit, clear, or redraw your boundary. TIPS FOR GOOD TRACKING - Ensure good lighting in the room. - Remove reflective surfaces (mirrors, glass) from the play area. - Remove low objects from the play area. - If the Guardian triggers falsely, clear and redraw the boundary.
