Meta Quest: Tracking Issues

How to resolve tracking issues on your Meta Quest headset. BEST PRACTICES FOR TRACKING - Use the headset in a well-lit room. - Avoid direct sunlight and very dark rooms. - Remove reflective surfaces (mirrors, glass) from the play area. - Keep the play area clear of obstacles. TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS 1. Clean the front camera plates with a dry microfiber cloth. 2. Restart the headset. 3. Clear and redraw the Guardian boundary: Settings > Guardian > Clear boundary. 4. Check for software updates: Settings > System > Software Update. 5. If one controller loses tracking, replace its batteries and re-pair it. 6. Ensure the play area has consistent lighting (avoid flickering lights). STILL HAVING ISSUES? If tracking problems persist, try a factory reset.
