How to fix controller drift on your Meta Quest controllers. WHAT IS CONTROLLER DRIFT? Controller drift is when your cursor or in-game movement moves on its own without you touching the thumbstick. TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS 1. Clean the thumbstick base with compressed air to remove dust and debris. 2. Remove and reinsert the controller batteries. 3. Re-pair the controller: Settings > Devices > Controllers > Pair new controller. 4. Replace the batteries with fresh AA batteries. 5. Update the headset software (Settings > System > Software Update).
