Meta Quest: Headset Care & Cleaning

How to keep your Meta Quest headset clean and in good condition. STORAGE - NEVER store the headset in direct sunlight. Sunlight permanently damages the front plates, lenses, and internal screen. - Use a carrying case when not in use or when transporting the headset. FRONT CAMERA PLATES - The front camera plates are glass and can scratch. Protect them at all times. - Clean only with a dry optical microfiber cloth. Do not use liquid or chemicals. LENSES - Clean with a dry optical microfiber cloth only. - Do not use liquid, alcohol, or abrasive chemicals on the lenses. STRAPS AND FACIAL INTERFACE - Use non-abrasive anti-bacterial wipes to clean straps and the facial interface. - Do not use alcohol or abrasive solutions. - The facial interface can be hand-washed with mild soap and air-dried. SENSORS AND VENTS - Clean dust from sensors and vents using compressed air. - Do not insert anything into the vents.
